Helen Knee
Helen has worked in education for the last twelve years, including for the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority and the Department for Education and Skills (now the DCSF). She is currently the acting Head of Communications for Ofqual.
Helen originally trained as a Geographer and moved into the public sector soon after university. After stints in education policy development, corporate services delivery and project management she has used her wide experience of the sector to concentrate on public administration and more recently public communications.
The role of Head of Communications oversees a wide remit including external relations and media, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, publishing and e-communications as well as the Information and Investigations Team. The main thrust of the role being to establish and develop the reputation and visibility of Ofqual.
