How to complain
If you have a complaint about your exam results, you should contact your centre who may take this up with the awarding body.
If you have a complaint about an awarding body or Ofqual and its operations you can contact our Customer Relations team at info@ofqual.gov.uk.
Alternatively, you can telephone our Customer Relations team on 0300 303 3344.

We will ensure that your complaint is acknowledged within five working days and that a considered response is issued within ten working days of that acknowledgement.
If you have a complaint about your school, college or training provider you should normally contact the awarding body in the first instance.
If you have a query or complaint about an exams issue, you should contact Ofqual's Information and Investigations team (rsii@ofqual.gov.uk) who will either give you a response or pass your query to the relevant person within Ofqual. Please note that in the majority of circumstances a complaint about an exams issue would be referred to the awarding body by your centre.You can also write to us at the address above.
You should include:
- a clear explanation of the nature of your query or complaint
- your full name and candidate number
- your centre name and number
- the name of the awarding body
- the qualification or unit title and code number
- copies of any relevant supporting documents.
