Drawing on QCA's regulatory experience, the lecture event Intelligent Regulation: trust and risk, held on 8 November 2007, explored issues including:

• levels of regulation and levels of risk
• trusting regulated organisations to deliver
• intelligent regulation: adapting regulatory approaches in response to trust and risk
• applying intelligent regulation to other regulated sectors.
